Glastonbury Therapist

If you’re feeling weighed down by self-doubt, chronic overthinking, or a challenging relationship with food and body image, you’re not alone. Stress, low self-esteem, and all-or-nothing thinking can make it feel difficult to move forward, leaving you feeling overwhelmed and unsure of how to cope.

In our therapy sessions, you’ll find a safe, warm, and welcoming space to explore these challenges. Together, we’ll work on building self-acceptance, compassion, and resilience, helping you to reframe negative beliefs about yourself and the world around you. Through this journey, you’ll discover ways to cultivate a healthier relationship with yourself, food, and your body and feel more empowered to engage fully in life.

“You can’t get courage without rumbling with vulnerability. Embrace the suck…Courage and fear are not mutually exclusive. Most of us feel brave and afraid at the exact same time. We feel vulnerable ”

How Individual Therapy Works

Step 1

Schedule a Free Consultation

The first step is to schedule a free consultation where we can determine if we’re a good fit. We’ll talk about what prompted you to seek therapy and about what you hope to achieve in therapy.

Step 2

Have Our First Session Together

During our first session, we’ll explore in more detail your journey to therapy. I will do a lot of listening to give you space to share your story.

Step 3

Collaborate on Therapy Goals

In our second session, together we’ll create a plan of what you want to achieve during our time together. We’ll discuss some of the roadblocks you may face and strategies to overcome them.

Step 4

Ongoing Sessions & Goal Check In

In our subsequent sessions, we will continue to work on the goals you created at the beginning of therapy. If new problems arise, we will hold space for those problems, too. We will check in on your goals and make adjustments as necessary.
